    About this Demonstration

    Steve records his Yamaha C330 classical guitar with the Your Heaven® CloseUp® System for Guitar and two high-end studio microphones (a Neumann KM150 and a Danish Pro Audio DPA 4036) for comparison.

    If you toggle back and forth between the audio tracks, you can compare the sound of the Your Heaven® CloseUp® System for Guitar with that from the Neumann KM150 and the Danish Pro Audio DPA 4036. We think you'll be impressed.

    In the 2nd half of the video you have an opportunity to hear how well the Your Heaven® CloseUp® System for Guitar isolates the guitar from the sonic environment while maintaining sound quality similar to well respected studio microphones. About 20 seconds in, Arvid enters from the left and ruins the moment by playing the drum kit (please forgive his playing – he's not a drummer). Amazingly though, it doesn't affect Steve's recording very much! While the drumming competes with the quiet classical guitar in the Hypercardioid mic (KM150) recording and totally obliterates it in the omni mic (DPA 4036), you can hardly hear it in the Your Heaven® CloseUp® System for Guitar recording! Our system will also do this when used on stage.
